Here you can find the latest SEND Sensation events and activities from our supporting partners.
- Essex Youth Build - Holiday Construction Clubs
- Essex Youth Build will be hosting four Holiday Construction Club during the May Half Term!Hosted by Essex Youth Build, the club supports young people to learn practical skills, build confidence and have fun during the school holidays.When?
- Tuesday 26 May and Wednesdays 27 May, with two sessions per day
- Morning Session: 10:00am – 12:00pm. Suggested age group: 8–11 years
- Afternoon Session: 12:30pm – 2:30pm. Suggested age group: 12–15 years
You can book for both sessions on a certain day if you would like to, and have the half hour between as lunch time.
- Colchester Relaxed Swim - May Half Term
During May Half Term 2026, we have two sessions running at Leisure World Colchester!
SEND Sensation have partnered with Leisure World Colchester (CO1 1YH) for their Holiday Swim sessions in their 25m pool. A great opportunity for SEND children and their families to attend Leisure World Colchester for a SEND Exclusive Family Fun Swim!
THESE EVENTS ARE A HIGHLY DISCOUNTED RATE, please see below:
Children – £5 per session
ONE Parent/Carer – Free
Additional Parents – £5 per session
All payments to be made on the day at Leisure World.
Simply book 1 ticket per family and complete the details required.
Please note only children and young people with a SEND diagnosis can attend a session with their parents/carers and siblings.
- Colchester Relaxed Weekly Swim (Term time only)
We are pleased to announce that we are extending our partnership with Colchester Leisure World to After School Sessions, every Tuesday 4:30 – 6:00pm this time in the LEISURE POOL!
Please note only children and young people with a SEND diagnosis can attend a session with their parents/carers and siblings.

- Witham Relaxed Swim
We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with Freedom Leisure in Witham, to offer Exclusive SEND Family Fun Swim sessions every Sunday, 12:15pm – 1:15pm!
Children and young people with a SEND diagnosis can enjoy a swim session with a parent/carer and siblings.Book your place via Eventbrite today!
PLEASE NOTE: These sessions are at a discounted rate of £4.27 per child/young person with ONE parent/carer free.Any additional adults will be charged £5.67 – payment to be made on the day at Fusion reception.
All payments should be made on the day at Freedom Leisure using an EventBrite Ticket.
- Braintree Relaxed Swim
This special event is designed to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where SEND families have fun and create lasting memories.
Every Sunday, 12:00pm – 13:00pm, we will be offering weekly Relaxed Family Swim sessions in the Main pool and Small pool.Perfect for families with SEND children from 0-19 years old, enjoy the warm, welcoming environment as you splash around in our spacious pool, making unforgettable memories together.
