About Happy Hill

Happy Hill Essex is a local charity providing inclusive opportunities for children and young people with special educational needs, disabilities (SEND), and physical needs. We offer a welcoming environment where every child can grow in confidence, make friends, and take part in meaningful, fun experiences.

Our services include:

• Saturday Clubs – social and play-based sessions that promote communication, independence and confidence.
• Holiday Clubs – themed activity days offering new experiences in a supportive, accessible environment.
• After-school Hangout – relaxed sessions for young people to unwind, build friendships, and develop life skills.
• Day Opportunities – flexible weekday placements for 19 to 25 years old young people and adults with additional or physical needs, tailored around individual goals and interests.

We work closely with families, schools, and professionals to provide consistent, person-centred support, helping every young person reach their potential in a way that feels safe, inclusive, and joyful.
